Green Ribbons for Politician
AMDF will send green ribbons to politicians and invite them to wear them to raise awareness. If you would like to send a ribbon to your local MP, email

Light Up for Mito
16 September
Eighteen Australian monuments, including Deakin University (VIC), Telstra Tower (ACT), and Darling Quarter (NSW) will join monuments around the world including the Colosseum, and Niagara Falls in being illuminated in green on 16 September to raise awareness about mito, and attempt the world record for the most monuments illuminated in a 24-hour. NSW Parliament House Stall
19 September
AMDF will host a stall to raise awareness about mito among politicians and invite them to wear a green ribbon to show their support.

Dream to Be (WA)
21 September
Organised by mito community members Fiona Elmer and Tamara Robins, Dream to Be gives children the chance to pose for a photo against some amazing superhero backgrounds! Find out more.
