Mitochondrial Information Day
Following the success of the previous information day in March 2009, the Neurogenetics Department of Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital will be sponsoring another Mitochondrial Information Day on Thursday 13th August 2009.
Key presentations include:
- Prof. John Christodoulou from Westmead Children's Hospital talking about the treatment of children with mitochondrial disease
- A/Prof. Carolyn Sue from the Royal North Shore Hospital discussing treatment and healthy living for adults affected by mitochondrial disease
- Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation presentation
- Stay In Bed Day - a fundraising and awareness raising initiative of the AMDF
