AMDF Scientific and Medical Advisory representatives head to Spain for the eight Euromit Conference...

From June 20th to 23rd, members of the AMDF Scientific and Medical Advisory Panel, including; Professor John Christodoulou, Doctor Phillipa Lamont, Professor Carolyn Sue, and Professor David Thorburn represented the foundation at the eighth European Meeting on Mitochondrial Pathology held in Zaragoza, Spain.

Since the first Euromit meeting in 1989, this symposium is organised every three-four years in Europe. Its aim is to bring forward recent advances in the field of mitochondrial research with a special focus on pathology.

Euromit is now one of the largest international congresses dedicated to a specific field of molecular medicine.

By bringing together clinicians and basic scientists from all continents to this meeting, the Euromit team fostered and facilitated constructive scientific interactions and collaborations. The meeting was composed of keynote lectures, plenary sessions on selected topics, short oral presentations, and poster sessions.
