Volunteering Opportunities
As a small and relatively new charitable organisation, the AMDF is always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers who can commit some of their time to help our cause. If you have the time and the inclination, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to discuss opportunities - we will happily find something for you! Aside from this general opportunity, see below for specific requirements we have at this time.

Employment Opportunities
To date, the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (AMDF) has operated predominantly on the amazing volunteering offered by dedicated AMDF supporters. At the start of 2011, AMDF employed a CEO and now has a 5 year strategic plan developed. To achieve this plan, it is recognised that the foundation needs to invest in experienced resources to supplement the contribution of our volunteers.

The AMDF is currently calling for applications for our 5th AMDF PhD Scholarship. Applications close 31st January 2012.
Other Opportunities
The AMDF is seeking expression of interest from individuals or groups interested in undertaking the onoing management and development of our Energy for Life Walkathon/Fun Run and planned Running on Empty elite athelete events.
