AMDF Employment Opportunity - Marketing/Communications Manager (Part Time, 2 days/week)

 

AMDF is seeking an experienced Marketing/Communications Manager to drive all aspects of AMDF marketing and communications on a part-time basis (2 days/week) in accordance with our 5 year strategic plan.

 

Help shape the future of a burgeoning charity making a real difference

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Conduct marketing campaigns to achieve goals and objectives outlined in AMDF's 5 year strategic plan
  • Establish a collection of AMDF marketing collateral
  • Perform PR activities in liaison with AMDF PR consultants and volunteers
  • Ongoing management of AMDF website and AMDF sub-brand website content
  • Brand building for AMDF and AMDF sub-brands including:
  • Provide assistance to AMDF supporters and volunteers with respect to marketing and communications
  • Act as the AMDF brand steward to ensure unified AMDF branding
  • AMDF and AMDF sub-brand social media presence management
  • Assistance with events management

This position is initially 2 days per week with a transition to 3 days per week planned after 12 months. There is potential to combine this role with another part-time role currently available in the Fundraising Manager.

 

Relevant work experience in a similar industry is required (health promotion charity preferred) and appropriate tertiary qualifications are desired. A connection with mitochondrial disease or the mito community would be highly advantageous.
