Rocket Rascals VIP night and fundraiser

On 28th September 2011 Rocket Rascals Kid Outfitters, located in the beautiful Thirroul, hosted a VIP night and fundraiser for the AMDF. The event aimed to thank the loyal customers of Rocket Rascals for their support of the business, but also to raise awareness and funds for the AMDF.

Bringing further awareness of mitochondrial disease and raising funds to find a cure, 10% of all items sold on the night were kindly donated to the AMDF. Artist Katherine Simms donated one of her beautiful linocut prints “Pears for Afternoon Tea” that was raffled on the night. This print was won by Rachael Cassidy.

Advocacy and support such as this helps boost research into mitochondrial disease that will in turn hasten the process of finding a cure.
